How long has the Ad In The Hole
(AITH) concept been in use and where?
The AITH concept has been
successfully implemented since the 1990s throughout Europe, South
Africa and the Far East –
more than 1000 courses – with a high renewal rate.
How does the AITH concept work?
AITH-USA procures Advertisers
who target or wish to target the golfing community. Advertisers
are then matched with golf courses that meet their geographic
and demographic requirements. We then produce the advertising graphics
and place them in the holes on golf courses nationwide for a guaranteed
25 days per month.
How do I, as a golf course owner or manager, benefit from participating
in the Ad In The Hole-USA concept?
As a participating golf course,
you benefit from an additional revenue stream through advertising,
placed by third-party reputable companies, on the bottom of the
cup in the holes on your greens. In addition, many golf courses
have used AITH to promote special offers to their customers through
promotions and special events (“Corporate Golfing Days”),
thus increasing play and profitability.
What are “Corporate Golfing Days?”
Corporate Golfing Days are company-sponsored events that take place
on your golf course. Companies are provided the opportunity to
communicate their name and sponsorship using the AITH concept.
A participating golf course receives the same agreed-upon percentage
as for their monthly 25-day contract.
Are there additional costs to participate?
There are absolutely
NO additional costs. In fact, AITH-USA will supply you with the
necessary patented system – including new cups, advertising
discs and tools to lock/unlock the discs on the bottom of the hole,
and to effortlessly remove/replace the entire cup when changing
hole placement on your greens. |
What is the potential
for additional revenue rewarded to our golf course?
AITH-USA rewards
participating golf courses with a percentage of the gross revenue
earned on a monthly basis.

How often do the advertisements change?
AITH-USA commits itself
to gaining yearly contracts with companies that wish to advertise
on your course. Advertisers are free to change their ads on an
agreed-upon schedule. Although shorter term contracts are possible,
AITH-USA believes in the repetitive effect of branding.
What are the responsibilities of participating golf courses?
The
only responsibility of participating golf courses is to ensure
maintenance of the advertisements while repositioning the holes
on the greens. The advertising discs are designed to withstand
normal wear and tear, but may require replacement from time-to-time
using the supplied replacement tool.
AITH-USA also requires the golf courses to supply the number of
rounds played at their facility on a yearly basis in an effort
to fix the appropriate monthly advertising cost, and track the
number of exposures in gathering marketing iIntelligence.
In coordination
with the golf course management team,
AITH-USA will also select
days when surveys pertaining
to the placed advertisements will
take place.

AITH-USA has
