How
is the advertising rate for a golf course determined?
The rate is determined by assessing
a number of variables that impact the value of the impressions
delivered by the Ad In The Hole concept on that course:
- Type of golf course – private, semi-private, public, municipal,
resort or executive
- Demographics of the golfers who play the course –
assessing the level of greens fees, membership Initiation fees,
location, rating and prestige level.
- Number of different golfers who play the course.
- Number of rounds played annually.
All these factors are considered in placing an annual advertising rate on each course.
Why do you not include seasonality as one of the factors, including
months closed?
Because the number of rounds played is the determining
factor. A course closed 3 months a year generating 35,000 rounds
has the same relative value to Advertisers as a course open year round
also generating 35,000 rounds.
How is the advertising fee paid?
The fee is an annual fee based
on total annual rounds –
the number of rounds may vary substantially month-to-month. The
annual fee can be paid quarterly, semi-annually or annually.
Can I earn a discount for advertising on multiple courses?
Yes,
an Advertiser can receive a discount on Agreements covering multiple
courses. The discount varies with the number of courses included.
What makes Ad In The Hole such an attractive
brand-building medium?
Ad In The Hole’s Advertisers have embraced the subtle, unobtrusive
impressions delivered in an environment uncluttered by competing
messages. The golfer is in a relaxed, yet focused state of mind.
And Advertisers recognize how few opportunities exist to generate
so many repetitive, focused impressions in such a short time period
(statistically, a golfer is exposed to an Advertiser’s message
in excess of 3 times per hole over an 18-hole round – that’s
an average 50+ impressions over 4+ hours - that’s per golfer).
And you know that the vast majority of golfers exposed to your
message fit the profile you seek.
That’s
brand-building power! |
Can
I identify specific courses on which I want to place messages?
Yes. If selected
courses are not already signed to accept Ad In The Hole messages,
we will contact each course to secure an Agreement to accept your
advertising messages on their course. Certain super-premium courses
may be available only in packages, but we will attempt to meet
your specific requests as precisely as we can.
How do I know the ad-discs are being maintained
and displayed properly at the course(s) I’ve chosen?
Ad In The Hole secures
a binding Agreement with Golf Partner courses to place ad-discs
in holes and monitor for damage. To ensure compliance, courses
know that Ad In The Hole representatives regularly and anonymously
check courses for compliance – and that violations of the
Agreement will result in a loss of this valuable revenue stream.
What happens on the remaining days of the month beyond the minimum
25 days our Agreement covers?
One of the advantages of securing
Agreements early in our rollout into the US is continued placement
of your ad-discs in the holes during those extra days when Corporate
Golfing Days are not scheduled. That can mean as many as 6 extra
days per month of exposure for no extra investment.
As the concept
rolls out, proves its value and demand grows, eventually golf clubs
will look for additional income for those bonus days. But, until
then, you enjoy even more added value for your investment.
As an advertiser, how do I know if the advertising is working?
As part of our commitment to our clients, AITH-USA will conduct
and/or hire a neutral party to conduct surveys and gather marketing
intelligence that will be shared with our Advertisers.
How do I participate in the AITH concept?
